How Does GC Consignment Work?

Glads Collectibles accepts ALL Sports and TCG Cards, both Ungraded and Graded!

Glads Collectibles Consignment service provides conditioning, pricing, a detailed inventory, high resolution photos for each listing, completion of each listing, ongoing marketing through social media accounts, and safely shipping each card to the buyer.

Selling platforms for all cards are both Glads Collectibles website AND eBay. Glads Collectibles covers all eBay and PayPal fees.

Step 1: Select your submission quantity.

  • Cards with a value of $10 or less will not be posted for consignment and will be shipped back to you at your expense. 
  • Gather and count the cards in your submission. Checkout the corresponding number of cards on our website!
  • At this time, Glads Collectibles will only be accepting submissions with a maximum of 350 cards.

This is encouraged for sellers who have either a limited knowledge of their cards OR those who have a large collection (350+ cards) and need assistance narrowing down what cards to submit.

Step 2: Get ready to ship your cards.

  • You will receive a confirmation email immediately after checking out your submission quantity with detailed instructions (please check your spam/junk folder for this email). The instructions will include the GC Consignment Intake Form and the shipping address. The confirmation email MUST be printed and included in your submission package. 
  • ** Each card that is submitted WITHOUT a sleeve and toploader/one-touch will be subject to additional fees. These fees will be deducted from your payout (maximum $0.35 per card).  

    Toploader/One-Touch = $0.30 / per card
    Sleeve = $0.05 / per card

Step 3: Complete intake form and ship your cards.

  • Must complete GC Consignment Intake Form and ship your cards to the provided shipping address. 
  • The intake form will give you the option to either be an involved seller or hassle-free seller. 
    • Involved Sellers: Seller chooses list price.
    • Hassle-Free Sellers: Glads Collectibles chooses list price.
  • It is highly recommended that you send your cards with tracking and insurance to ensure safe arrival.
Step 4: Cards are received and processed.
  • Once your cards have been processed, a second email will be sent with your login information for the consignment portal and your detailed inventory for your approval prior to activating listings. 
  • Processing times:
    • 1 – 10 Cards: 5 business days
    • 11 – 25 Cards: 5 – 7 business days 
    • 26 – 50 Cards: 5 – 10 business days 
    • 51 – 100 Cards: 7 – 10 business days 
    • 101 – 200 Cards: 10 – 14 business days 
    • 201 – 350 Cards: 14 business days

Step 5: Glads Collectibles does the rest!

  • View the progress of your products through the consignment portal (payouts done via eTransfer or PayPal). You will be paid out once your card(s) sell and funds are processed (this may take 3-5 business days). 
  • After each of your cards sell, you will receive a confirmation email. As well, you will receive a payout confirmation email once your payout is sent. 
  • After 100 days on the market if your cards DO NOT sell, your cards will either be returned to you OR reappraised to detect any market changes.
  • If you choose for cards to be returned to you at any time, the return shipping will be invoiced to you.
